Assumptions of what entertainment is or what is does and effects people have been made and heard throughout my life I’ve just read an essay that broke it down in what she thinks is the three main reasons. This is to have fun, a reflection of culture, and a personal choice. As always, when I read I learn new things every time. Something I knew but never thought of or put it together. That it takes our attention away from our reality or daily routines for a certain time of the day. People just want to have a good time. Like watching a movie or playing video games, plays, watching live athletics. The we spends millions every weekend on movie theatres. The Greeks saw this as an emotional release, to UN used energy and to refresh our spirits. Mrs. laterall then made me think that is America making entertainment give us hidden messages powerful ones about the real way of American life. Who the mommy and daddy, who looks a thief. You’d be surprised who they point at who for what. Media, movies and sources of entertainment shows these kids subliminally who is whop. Who they want us see as the bad guy. The rest of her fun section of the essay is just some bullshit about the very first model. To me a waste of read, I overall liked the whole essay
